PTI announces boycott of all-party conference called by K-P governor ISLAMABAD: PTI Information Secretary Sheikh Waqas Akram Wednesday announced their boycott of the All Parties Conference (APC) called by the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa governor. In a statement, he contended that the PTI represented the people of the province and that the decision to boycott the APC was taken on the basis of the PPP’s silent facilitation in the massacre of unarmed and peaceful citizens. Waqas said the decision was taken in view of the complicity of killers in exchange for political wages adding that the PPP was actively supporting the government’s nefarious agenda of banning the PTI. He claimed that the PPP played a role in the approval of ban resolution from the Balochistan Assembly, while it was busy ‘rounding up and harassing our workers in Sindh’.
